L'HISTOIRE
Quand j'ai commencé comme commis-débarrasseur dans une boîte de jazz à Paris, j'avais 18 ans. J'étais loin de me douter, que 50 ans plus tard je serais encore actif avec autant de conviction. Après avoir ouvert une bonne quinzaine de restaurants, bars et discothèques à Québec, et 35 ans avec la femme de ma vie, six merveilleux enfants, un tour du monde de plus de deux ans, une faillite et une dépression, j'ai ouvert avec $ 25 000 empruntés à mes amis la Casa Calzone. Ce fût le coup de foudre!

Une bonne bouffe, de la bonne musique, du staff incroyablement compétent et fidèle, je vous avoue honnêtement, que je n'ai jamais eu autant de plaisir à travailler de toute ma vie.

THE STORY
When I began my career as a busboy in a jazz nightclub in Paris, I was but 18 years old. Little did I know that 50 years later I would still be active with so much conviction! After opening about 15 restaurants, bars and discotheques in Québec, making a 35 year journey with the woman of my life with six marvelous kids, taking a two-year plus trip around the world and going bankrupt and breakdown, I opened La Casa Calzone with $ 25 000 borrowed to my friends. That was love at first sight!

Good food, good music, amazingly qualified and loyal staff; in all honesty, I got to admit, I have never had so much fun at work in my whole life!
